EF StartUp Manager lets you control all app auto-launch methods on Windows, including system ones, with advanced tools and a 30-day free trial.
I often write about desktop applications, which means I frequently have to install them on my computer. And you wouldn’t believe how often these applications love to start up automatically when the computer boots.
Windows has built-in tools for managing auto-launch applications, but they don’t always include the most annoying ones. In such cases, alternatives like EF StartUp Manager come in handy.
This utility doesn’t require installation and allows you to control all types of application auto-launch methods: from the startup menu, the registry, configuration files, and other sources.
What You See When Launching EF StartUp Manager
On the left panel, you’ll find a list of auto-launch types, and on the right, all the applications associated with each type.
The tool displays absolutely all applications, including system ones and those that can’t be disabled using standard Windows tools. To stop an app from auto-launching, all you need to do is uncheck the box, and it won’t start anymore.
If you’re a power user with advanced skills, EF StartUp Manager also allows you to create and edit existing application sets. Specialized tools for this are available in the top menu and context menus.
Additionally, registry lists and data can be exported or imported into the application.
Pricing
You can use the application for free for 30 days. A license costs $14.50.
