How to close apps with one click in the Dock

MiddleQuit lets you truly quit apps in macOS with a middle-click on the Dock icon and customize hotkeys; it costs £1.50.

macOS really doesn’t like closing apps, even when you click the Close button. So you often have to find the most convenient way to actually quit them.

With the MiddleQuit utility, you can close apps by middle-clicking their icon in the Dock.

If you want, you can assign quitting to another mouse button and also change the hotkey for force quitting.
