Guys from Google do not sit still, and therefore, for some users, the results began to open in the same tab in the sidebar.
Normally, when you highlight text on a page and select Search on Google, Chrome opens the search results in a new tab.

But the guys from Google do not sit still, and therefore, for some users, the results began to open in the same tab in the sidebar.
If you don't like this behavior, just uncheck the flagchrome://flags/#side-search

And repeat the procedure for the flagchrome://flags/#search-web-in-side-panel

To activate such a search, just activate both flags.
