Windows has a built-in setting where you can adjust the double-click speed, but this may not be suitable for users who need precise values, lower speeds, or adjustments for the right mouse button. The utilities below can help with that.
I tested all these utilities on Windows 11. None of them require installation, but administrative privileges are needed for proper functionality.
Double Click Repair Tool
If I were to recommend one tool, it would be Double Click Repair Tool. It allows you to set a delay in milliseconds for the three main mouse buttons and three customizable buttons. Additionally, you can disable the scroll wheel.

Left Mouse Button Fix
The simplest tool on this list—but also the least useful. After launching, it provides just two buttons: start and stop.
I noticed no delay in double-clicking while the app was running, nor is it clear what delay it applies. Based on my testing, Left Mouse Button Fix does not work on Windows 11.
DoubleClickFix
This tool does not allow you to specify which mouse buttons it affects—it works on both the left and right buttons. The only useful setting is defining the click-blocking period in seconds.
