How to Hide Shorts on YouTube

Shorts are a relatively new YouTube video format, a la your TikToks and Reels. On mobile phones, they look quite organic and even have the right to life, but on the desktop you want to hide them.

You can do this by simply installing a Chrome extension called ShortsBlocker. It has no settings other than on/off, and it just hides short clips.
