Check a card’s BIN (first 6–8 digits) with online tools like Cardinata to see the issuing bank, country, brand, card type, and other details.
A card BIN is the first 6–8 digits of a credit or debit card. These digits allow banking systems to identify basic information about the issuing bank and the card type.
Why would you want to check a BIN yourself? For example, if you are testing a payment system and want to make sure everything works correctly. Or if you issue a virtual card and want to find out which bank actually services it.
You can check a BIN using specialized online services. One example is the bin checker by Cardinata.
To perform a check, simply enter the full card number or just the first digits of the card. After that, you will immediately see information about the bank that issued the card.
