There are times when you need to turn off a display. If it’s an external monitor, it usually has a power button. But what about the built-in display? And why bother reaching for anything at all?

You can simplify turning displays on and off with a simple utility called [**LightsOut**](https://github.com/AlonX2/LightsOut). All its features are clearly visible in the screenshot below.

Once installed, a list of all connected monitors will appear in the Menu Bar, allowing you to turn any of them on or off with a single click.
