- Description: PastePlain is a utility for cleaning up clipboard text: it removes formatting, extra spaces, and line breaks. It also supports custom hotkeys.

One common issue when pasting text fragments from the clipboard is the need to remove unwanted formatting. This can usually be solved quite easily — in fact, I once set it up to work with `COMMAND+SHIFT+V`, though I barely remember how.

However, what really annoys me is the extra spaces at the end of copied text.
I managed to solve this with an app called [**PastePlain**](https://apps.apple.com/app/pasteplain/id6747826145), which helps clean up text formatting in the clipboard.

It offers several customization options:

You can assign your own hotkey for text cleaning, and beyond basic formatting removal, you can enable checkboxes to strip extra spaces and line breaks.
