YouTube is great because you can find instructional videos on just about any topic. But often these videos are too long to watch closely, and fast-forwarding doesn’t always help you find the part you need. Wouldn’t it be cool to just “ask” the video for the information you need?
This is easy to do with the ChatTube extension, which lets you ask ChatGPT questions about the current YouTube video in real time. It only works for videos with English subtitles, but you can ask questions in Russian.
You can ask for a brief summary of the video, have the content translated, identify key points, and much more. The limit is set at five videos per day.
