Notepad Next is a cross-platform fork of Notepad++ available on macOS, offering the same features but without plugin support.
After switching from Windows to macOS, one of my unresolved issues was the lack of my favorite text editor, Notepad++. But recently, some kind folks managed to solve that too.
A project called Notepad Next appeared on GitHub — a fork of the beloved Notepad++. The main difference for now is that Notepad Next is available on Windows, Linux, and macOS.
Aside from the lack of plugin support, it offers the same functionality as Notepad++.
