Additionally, it provides other useful features for advanced users: WebDAV support, command-line operation, and AES-256 end-to-end encryption for all data. What Kind of Cloud is This?
In general, if you have used Dropbox or similar services, you will find the same features in Internxt. It doesn’t matter if it’s the web version, desktop version, or mobile version – the capabilities are the same across all platforms.
After registration, you get 2 GB for free, but you can increase the space to 10 GB by completing simple tasks that you would likely do while using the app anyway.
When you install the application on your computer, an Internxt icon appears in the system tray. By clicking it, you can view the upload history, open the local folder, or access the web version. A separate folder also appears on your computer where you can drop files for synchronization.
You can't add any folder on your computer for cloud synchronization, following the typical Dropbox style. File synchronization is fast and without any issues.
Desktop applications do not allow you to share files, but you can make data available offline.
To fully share a folder or file, you can use the web version of the application. Here, you can create a shareable link or provide full viewing or editing rights via email.
In mobile versions, only the shareable link feature is available. Other functions are the same as in the desktop version.
Online, you can also view backups and deleted files.
Pricing
For individual users, Internxt offers two types of plans. The first is a monthly payment starting at $49.99 per year for 200 GB. The second is a lifetime plan with a one-time payment starting at $599 for 2 TB. The plans differ only in the available storage volume.
Cards are accepted for payment, but you can request crypto payment details from support.
Conclusions
Internxt is almost a complete analogue of Dropbox without the ability to share files from the desktop. If location isn’t a concern for you and you’re looking for something a bit more secure than Dropbox, this service is worth considering.
