If you stream, record podcasts, or engage in any other audio-related activities, you might need to combine different audio sources. This problem can be solved using special virtual mixers like Voicemeeter, which we'll discuss today.

How to Route Sound from One Application to Another

At first glance, the application seems easy to understand. Yet, the developers have included various advanced features. For instance, the top of the window shows the connection status of the Voicemeeter Remote API and the audio cable.

Each incoming audio source can have individual equalizer settings in Intellpan, set the clarity of the voice in Audibility. Additionally, you can assign the audio source to a specific bus, output sound in mono mode, adjust the Gain level, or mute it completely.

For the virtual audio input, you can also adjust bass, mid, and treble levels, change the audio positioning (left, right, rear, front).
