How to get notifications about changes in Notion in Telegram
When collaborating in Notion, it is not always obvious what changes were made to the pages, and it is generally not clear whether they were. There are several ways to solve this problem, but I want to talk about tracking changes using Telegram.
The NotionPM bot will help you receive notifications about all changes in the Notion database in the Telegram work chat or in correspondence with the bot.
The setup is simple and only takes a few steps. You need to start the bot, click the Connect Notion button and select one or more pages that you want to track.
Next, you need to choose what you would like to track. At the time of this writing, only tracking of renaming and adding / deleting tasks is supported.
Perhaps this is not enough. But, as I understand it, developers focus on tracking tasks on the Notion board and the real work should look something like this:
The final step is choosing a location to receive alerts. This can be a Telegram work chat or correspondence inside the bot.
I did not manage to set up notifications in the chat. The bot simply did not respond to commands. But the alerts inside the correspondence started working right away.
