How to Quickly Enable and Disable Wellbeing Notifications in Linux

Ubuntu 25.04 introduces a new GNOME extension called Wellbeing Toggle β€” it allows you to turn break reminders on and off directly from the quick settings menu.

Starting with Ubuntu 25.04, the system will periodically show notifications reminding you to take a break and go touch some grass. These notifications can be configured in the Wellbeing section. But what if you need to frequently enable or disable them?

In that case, the GNOME extension Wellbeing Toggle comes in handy, letting you switch this setting directly from the quick settings menu.

The extension doesn’t offer any additional features. It requires GNOME Shell version 48 or higher to work properly.
