Starting with Ubuntu 23.10, checking the charge level of Bluetooth devices has become much easier. All you need to do is go to Settings > Power. What if there is an even easier way?

To do this, you can install an extension for the Gnome shell called Bluetooth Battery Meter.

After installation, you will be able to view the charge level of compatible Bluetooth gadgets directly in the tray. The number of points corresponds to a certain level.

Of course, when you click on the extension icon, you can see more detailed information. And in the settings, you can further configure the behavior of the extension.
