Today, I decided to take a risk again and try another service that offers the issuance of an anonymous card for making purchases.
This time, I chose to check out Novacard, which promises to issue a card immediately after payment with cryptocurrency and without requiring identity verification.
Card Issuance
No KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is required to obtain the card. To start the issuance process, simply click the "Buy Prepaid Card" button on the homepage of the website. Next, you'll need to choose the type of card that suits you.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing this article, only one card was available: a Visa card with the U.S. region.
To select the card, just click the "Buy Now" button and proceed to payment. On this page, you can review the available features and limits in more detail.
You'll need to specify the initial balance for the card issuance. Keep in mind that you won't be able to top up the card or view its transaction history. After clicking the "Buy Now" button, you'll be taken to the payment page.
Accepted payment methods include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Solana, Polygon, Tron, and stablecoins. The issuance fee is already added to the balance you previously selected. For example, issuing a card with a $10 balance cost me $15.
After payment, you will receive the details of the selected card within 10 minutes. To retrieve the card, you need to follow the link in the email from Novacard and enter the confirmation code.
Features of Issued Cards and Fees
Novacard charges a fee only for issuing the card — 7.5%, but not less than $5. As mentioned earlier, you cannot top up the balance or check it, and the cards are not personalized.
The card is valid for six months, does not support 3DS, and can only be used for payments in U.S. stores.
